Local employment
Over 85% of our shipyard workforce is hired from the local communities of Tana Beru and Bira.
The reefs, marine life and coastal cultures of the archipelago are the reason our vessels exist. We protect them through design, construction and operation.

Sustainability is not an afterthought. It runs through every stage of our design, construction and operation — and extends to the economic and social well-being of the communities where we build.

We use only timber verified under SVLK, Indonesia’s national timber legality system, so our ironwood and teak come from legal, responsibly managed sources.
Less energy-intensive traditional techniques and strict waste protocols keep the yard clean: offcuts go to local crafts or fuel, and contaminants never reach land or sea.
Our phinisi are designed to protect sensitive marine environments such as Komodo National Park and Raja Ampat.
A marine sanitation device treats black and grey water to a standard well beyond the IMO MARPOL minimum.
Fuel-efficient diesel engines meeting IMO Tier II/III, and hydrodynamic analysis that shapes the hull for less drag.
High-capacity watermakers replace plastic bottles, and galley and service protocols are built around reusable containers.
For every launch, we fund an accredited Indonesian offset project — such as mangrove reforestation — covering the vessel’s first year.
Our connection to the people of South Sulawesi is the foundation of our company.
