Safety & compliance

Uncompromising safety and full regulatory compliance

Every vessel we build is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and a safe, fully compliant, legally sound asset. We navigate Indonesia’s regulations so you don’t have to.

Uncompromising safety and full regulatory compliance
Our commitment

In luxury maritime operations, safety and legal compliance are non-negotiable. Safety is engineered in, not added on — from the first design concept to the final sea trial.

Vessel certification

Classification and maritime compliance

Every vessel we deliver is certified to meet or exceed the requirements for commercial charter operations in Indonesian waters.

  • BKI class certificate

Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia inspects hull, machinery, safety equipment and stability throughout the build — proof the vessel is seaworthy to the national standard.

  • Surat Ukur

Issued by the port authority (KSOP), the tonnage certificate officially records the vessel’s dimensions and tonnage.

  • Grosse Akta

We manage the full registration process for the certificate of registry — the vessel’s official title and proof of Indonesian flag and ownership.

  • Surat Tanda Kebangsaan Kapal

We secure the vessel nationality certificate and the annual operational licences needed for domestic charter.

  • SOLAS-grade safety equipment

Built to SOLAS principles, with life rafts, EPIRBs, SARTs and fire suppression systems installed as standard.

  • MARPOL-compliant systems

All machinery and waste systems are compliant with MARPOL environmental protection standards.

Quality & safety management

Systems that keep every build consistent

Our internal processes are designed for consistency, quality and safety at every step.

ISO 9001:2015 processes

Project management, procurement and quality control workflows are structured in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

ISM safety principles

A safety management system for each vessel, with clear protocols for man overboard, fire and abandonment drills.

GPS tracking & monitoring

GPS tracking and satellite communications allow constant monitoring of position and status, even in the archipelago’s most remote waters.

Sea trials before delivery

Every vessel is tested for performance, stability, manoeuvrability and the function of all safety equipment before it leaves the yard.

Standards & partnerships

Global standards, local expertise

International conventions set the baseline; Indonesia’s archipelago demands its own expertise. Our network adds an ecosystem of safety and reliability.

Global standards, local expertise
  • Indonesian maritime law

We work proactively with the Directorate General of Sea Transportation on registration, certification and operational permits.

  • Protected waters

Vessels operating in sensitive areas such as Komodo National Park follow strict environmental guidelines.

  • Garuda Indonesia Cargo

A logistics partnership moves specialised equipment and parts to our Sulawesi shipyard via Makassar’s Sultan Hasanuddin airport.

  • AirNav Indonesia

For projects with helipads, we consult AirNav Indonesia to comply with all relevant airspace regulations.
